Intersex Flag
The Intersex Flag was introduced in 2013 by Morgan Carpenter of Intersex Human Rights Australia. Its yellow field and unbroken purple circle were chosen to stand apart from gendered symbols and colors, emphasizing bodily autonomy and integrity.

Ready-to-order products can be returned within 14 days of delivery.
Custom-made products are non-returnable unless there’s an error on our part — in which case we’ll gladly remake the item upon receiving proof.

How to take care of your hemptex® flag
Treat your flag with care and it’ll fly strong for years to come:
- Wash at 40°C with mild detergent
- Skip fabric softener – a splash of vinegar works better
- Wash separately or with similar colors
- Hang to dry — avoid tumble drying
- Iron on low heat (•), ideally while still slightly damp
- Avoid dragging on walls, trees, or the ground
- Bring indoors during storms, strong winds (6 Beaufort or higher), snow, or hail
Limited production
Each Hemptex® flag is produced in small batches with care and purpose.
For larger production volumes, we shift printing to our partners in India. This process may take up to 6 months, depending on order size and logistics. We're actively working to shorten this timeline.
